概览
河坊街位于吴山北麓，属清河坊历史文化街区，青石板路两侧保留清末民初风格的店铺作坊，是杭州保存较完整的历史街区。南宋时这里紧邻皇城，商铺酒楼林立；今日胡庆余堂等百年老字号仍在原址营业，市井烟火绵延不绝。清河坊是杭州城内保存较完整的旧城区块。街区紧邻南宋御街，是清河坊历史街区的核心部分。[1]
历史沿革
南宋定都临安，清河坊一带地处皇城根下，形成繁华的商业街市，名将张俊的清河郡王府即在此地，「清河坊」由此得名。清末民初，胡雪岩创办胡庆余堂（1874 年），方回春堂、张小泉、王星记等名店相继兴盛。二十世纪末街区整体保护修缮，成为展示老杭州市井文化的窗口。[1]

胡庆余堂中药博物馆藏在古建筑群内，可看老药工手工切片泛丸；朱炳仁铜雕艺术博物馆（江南铜屋）以铜艺构筑天地；街区的南宋书房、剪纸与糖画摊位展现非遗技艺。穿过鼓楼可接南宋御街，登吴山可俯瞰西湖与城郭。街西口的杭州博物馆可顺访，战国水晶杯是其镇馆之宝。[1]

地铁 7 号线吴山广场站下车步行即到，街区全天开放，傍晚至夜间最热闹。定胜糕、葱包桧、片儿川等杭帮小吃值得一试，但主街商业化较重，买茶买药请认准老字号门店。游览约两小时，可与南宋御街、吴山城隍阁安排在同一线路。夜游河坊街后可登吴山，看老城万家灯火。[1]
Overview
At the northern foot of Wu Hill, Hefang Street anchors the Qinghefang historic district, its stone-slab lane lined with shopfronts in late-Qing and early-Republican style. In the Southern Song this quarter pressed against the imperial city; today century-old establishments like the Hu Qing Yu Tang pharmacy still trade on their original sites.
Named for the Qinghe Prince's mansion of the Southern Song general Zhang Jun, the street flourished beside the palace walls and boomed again in the late Qing, when Hu Xueyan founded the Hu Qing Yu Tang medicine hall in 1874 alongside famed makers of scissors and fans. Protected and restored at the century's end, it now showcases old Hangzhou street life: watch pharmacists slice herbs in the medicine museum, step into the all-copper Jiangnan Copper House, and catch paper-cutting and sugar-painting artisans at work.
Walk from Wushan Square Station on subway Line 7; the street is open all day and liveliest from dusk. Try local snacks like dingsheng cakes and scallion pancakes, but stick to the time-honored shops for tea and medicine. Allow about two hours, combining the Southern Song Imperial Street and the City God Pavilion on Wu Hill.
