概览
千岛湖位于杭州市淳安县，是 1959 年新安江水电站蓄水后形成的人工湖，573 平方公里湖面上散落大小岛屿 1078 座，故得「千岛湖」之名。湖水属国家一级水体，水质清澈，素有「天下第一秀水」之誉。湖区森林覆盖率极高，是著名的「天然氧吧」。[1]
历史沿革
1959 年，新中国第一座自行设计建造的大型水电站——新安江水电站建成蓄水，淳安、遂安两座千年县城（贺城、狮城）与大片村镇沉入湖底，近三十万人移民他乡。湖区自二十世纪八十年代起发展旅游，「千岛湖」之名由此叫响，如今是国家 5A 级景区与著名的度假目的地。[1]

中心湖区梅峰岛「梅峰揽胜」可俯瞰三百余座岛屿星罗棋布，是千岛湖标志性景观；龙山岛有海瑞祠，纪念明代淳安知县海瑞；月光岛、渔乐岛各有主题。东南湖区黄山尖可览岛屿排列的奇观。夏季皮划艇、骑行环湖绿道，是亲近湖水的上佳方式。水下古城探秘是湖区近年推出的特色体验项目。[1]
参观贴士
杭州西站乘高铁至千岛湖站约一小时，再转巴士进城。湖区游览以游船为主，中心湖区与东南湖区码头分开售票，建议至少安排两天一夜。湖鲜鱼头汤是必尝美味；盛夏正午湖面暴晒，游船甲板注意防晒。湖区距杭州市区约 150 公里，自驾经杭千高速约两小时可达。[1]
Overview
In Chun'an County under Hangzhou, Qiandao Lake — the 'Thousand Island Lake' — was formed when the Xin'an River dam filled in 1959, scattering 1,078 islands across 573 square kilometers of water. The lake is rated a national first-class water body, famously clear, and celebrated as 'the finest water under heaven.'
The reservoir of New China's first large self-designed hydroelectric station submerged two thousand-year-old county towns — He and Shi cities — and resettled nearly 300,000 people. Tourism took off in the 1980s, and today the lake is a national 5A resort. From Meifeng Island's lookout, hundreds of islets strewn like emeralds make the signature view; Longshan Island honors the upright Ming magistrate Hai Rui; and Huangshanjian in the southeast sector reveals islands arranged in a famous natural pattern. Summer brings kayaking and the lakeside greenway.
High-speed trains run from Hangzhou West to Qiandaohu Station in about an hour, then a shuttle into town. Sightseeing is by boat, with the central and southeast lake sectors ticketed separately — plan at least two days and a night. Fish-head soup from the lake is the must-try dish; bring serious sun protection for midday decks in summer.
