概览
青城山位于成都都江堰市西南，群峰环绕如城郭，林木四季常青，素有「青城天下幽」之誉。这里是道教发祥地之一，东汉张道陵曾在此结茅传道，全山道观散布。2000 年与都江堰一同列入世界文化遗产名录。主峰老霄顶海拔约 1260 米，全山素有「一百零八景」之说。[2]
历史沿革
东汉汉安二年（143 年），张陵（张道陵）入青城山结庐传道，创立五斗米道，青城山由此被尊为道教祖庭之一。晋唐以来宫观渐兴，唐代山上道观达七十余处；现存建福宫、天师洞、上清宫等主要为清代以来重修。景区分前山、后山两片，各有意趣。2008 年汶川地震中部分宫观受损，现已修复。[1]

前山以人文道观见长：山麓建福宫始建于唐；天师洞（常道观）传为张陵修炼处，殿旁古银杏相传为其手植；上清宫海拔约千米，老君阁矗立峰顶，晴日可远眺成都平原。后山以自然野趣取胜，泰安古镇、五龙沟飞瀑、龙隐峡栈道幽深清凉，是避暑胜地。天然图画坊一带溪声鸟语，最见「幽」字真意。[1]
参观贴士
成都犀浦站乘成灌快铁至青城山站约半小时，前山步行登山约三小时，可乘索道至慈云阁再登顶。前山看道观、后山玩水，一日难以兼顾，建议择一深游或宿山下一晚。山中多雨路滑，备防滑鞋与雨具；夏季周末人流大，宜早出。前山与后山门票分开售卖，索道另计，请按需购买。[1]

Southwest of Dujiangyan city, Mount Qingcheng's peaks ring one another like city walls, evergreen in all seasons — hence its fame as 'the most secluded mountain under heaven.' One of the birthplaces of Taoism, where Zhang Daoling preached in the Eastern Han, it joined the UNESCO World Heritage List together with Dujiangyan in 2000.
In 143 AD Zhang Ling — Zhang Daoling — built a thatched retreat here and founded the Way of the Five Pecks of Rice, making the mountain an ancestral seat of Taoism; by the Tang more than seventy temples dotted its slopes. The front range holds the Tang-founded Jianfu Palace, the Tianshi Cave where Zhang is said to have cultivated, and the Shangqing Palace near the summit, crowned by the Laojun Pavilion with views to the Chengdu Plain. The back range offers the wilder side: Tai'an ancient town, the Wulonggou waterfalls, and the cool Longyin Gorge boardwalks.
From Chengdu's Xipu Station, the intercity train reaches Qingchengshan Station in about half an hour. Climbing the front range takes about three hours on foot, or ride the cable car partway. You cannot do both ranges justice in one day — pick one or stay a night at the foot. Trails are wet and slick: bring grippy shoes and rain gear.
