概览
上海城隍庙坐落于老城厢方浜中路，始建于明代永乐年间，距今六百余年，供奉上海县城隍秦裕伯，是江南地区重要的道教宫观。庙宇飞檐翘角、香火鼎盛，与豫园商城连成一片，构成上海最热闹的传统民俗商圈。「到上海不去城隍庙，等于没到过上海」，是流传甚广的说法。[1]
历史沿革
明永乐年间（1403—1424 年），时任上海知县张守约将金山神庙改建为上海城隍庙；清代多次重修扩建，前殿祀汉代博陆侯霍光，后殿祀敕封上海县城隍秦裕伯，形成「前霍后秦」的独特格局。二十世纪九十年代起殿堂陆续修复，恢复道教活动，成为市级文物保护单位。[1]
看点
大殿、元辰殿、财神殿、慈航殿沿中轴与两厢排布，六十甲子元辰造像可供信众寻本命星君；庙内木雕、砖刻保存了江南民间工艺。庙前的豫园商城老字号云集：南翔小笼包皮薄汁多，梨膏糖、五香豆是百年伴手礼，湖心亭与九曲桥近在咫尺。庙内戏台与茶楼保留了庙市的娱乐传统。[1]
参观贴士
地铁 10 号线、14 号线豫园站下车步行可达，庙宇开放至傍晚，入庙保持安静、勿对神像正面拍照。农历初一、十五与城隍诞辰香火最旺；元宵期间庙前灯会人山人海，注意错峰。商圈小吃价格偏高，点餐前看清标价。庙内可求签随喜，谨防庙外算命看相的搭讪。[1]
Overview
On Fangbang Middle Road in the old town, Shanghai's City God Temple was founded in the Ming Yongle era over six centuries ago to honor Qin Yubo, the city's guardian deity. An important Taoist temple of the Jiangnan region, its sweeping eaves and ceaseless incense merge with the Yuyuan bazaar into Shanghai's liveliest folk quarter.
The county magistrate Zhang Shouyue converted a Jinshan temple into the City God Temple in the Yongle years (1403–1424); Qing rebuilds gave it the unusual 'front Huo, rear Qin' arrangement — Han-dynasty general Huo Guang in the front hall, the city god Qin Yubo behind. Restored from the 1990s, its halls include the Yuanchen Hall with sixty statues of the cycle gods, where worshippers find their birth-year deity. Outside, the bazaar serves Nanxiang soup dumplings, pear-syrup candy, and spiced broad beans beside the zigzag bridge.
Walk from Yuyuan Garden Station on subway Line 10 or 14; the temple closes toward evening. Keep quiet inside and avoid photographing the statues head-on. Incense peaks on the first and fifteenth of each lunar month, and Lantern Festival crowds are intense. Bazaar snacks run pricey — check menus first.
