概览
上海博物馆创建于 1952 年，是享誉海内外的大型中国古代艺术博物馆，馆藏文物逾百万件，尤以青铜器、陶瓷、书画体系完整著称。人民广场馆舍 1996 年落成，方形基座托起圆形拱顶，取「天圆地方」之意；浦东东馆于 2024 年启用，形成一馆两址格局。[1]
历史沿革
上海博物馆 1952 年建馆，初设于南京西路旧跑马总会大楼，1959 年迁入河南南路中汇大楼。1996 年人民广场现馆建成开放，成为上海文化地标；2024 年东馆在浦东世纪广场落成启用，青铜馆、书法馆等全新升级。人民广场馆舍由建筑师邢同和设计，造型寓意「天圆地方」。[1]

中国古代青铜馆是上博的镇馆之宝库：西周大克鼎雄浑庄严，与大盂鼎、毛公鼎并称「海内三宝」；牺尊、吴王夫差盉皆为重器。陶瓷馆从彩陶到明清官窑脉络完整；书画馆王献之《鸭头丸帖》、怀素《苦笋帖》、孙位《高逸图》等真迹轮流展出，历代玺印与钱币馆也各擅胜场。[1]
参观贴士
人民广场馆实行公版预约参观，地铁 1、2、8 号线人民广场站可达，周一闭馆（法定节假日除外）。重点看青铜与书画两馆约需半天；热门特展需单独预约。东馆位于浦东新区，两馆地址不同，预约时切勿跑错。馆内冷气较足，夏季参观建议带一件薄外套。服务台可租借语音导览，亦有定时公版讲解。[1]
Overview
Founded in 1952, the Shanghai Museum is a world-renowned museum of ancient Chinese art holding over one million objects, celebrated above all for the completeness of its bronzes, ceramics, and paintings. Its 1996 People's Square building pairs a square base with a round top — 'round heaven, square earth' — and a second branch, the East Museum, opened in Pudong in 2024.
The museum began in the old racecourse building on Nanjing West Road, moved to Henan South Road in 1959, and settled on People's Square in 1996. The bronze gallery holds the Western Zhou Da Ke Ding cauldron — one of the 'three treasures of the realm' — alongside the Xi Zun wine vessel and the Wu king Fuchai's he; ceramics run from painted pottery to Ming-Qing imperial kilns; and masterpieces like Wang Xianzhi's 'Duck-Head Pills' letter, Huaisu's 'Bitter Bamboo Shoots,' and Sun Wei's 'Lofty Scholars' rotate through the painting galleries.
The People's Square museum is free with advance reservation, reachable from People's Square Station on subway Lines 1, 2, and 8, closed Mondays except public holidays. Bronzes and paintings alone take half a day; blockbuster shows need separate booking. The East Museum is across the river in Pudong — double-check which branch your reservation is for.
